Within the scope of the study, parents with dyscalculic children were informed about dyscalculia and individuals with dyscalculia. In addition, it has created awareness that together with the school and the teacher, they can contribute to their children for a reason and that they can take a more active role in the process. With the educational videos prepared on the teaching of basic arithmetic subjects, parents contributed to providing more support to their children. As a result, significant progress has been made so that children with dyscalculia will have continuous access, especially during the epidemic, and receive more qualified and more accurate educational support from their parents with whom they interact. 3- SD4/GEN/1495 – Teaching Mathematics to Children with Dyscalculia with Games
With the educational math games designed within the scope of the study,
1- Dyscalculic individuals like mathematics,
2- Developing positive attitudes towards mathematics
3- Reducing math anxiety,
4- It is aimed to improve their mathematics performance.
Within the scope of the study, many educational math games that teachers and parents can use in teaching mathematics were shared. With these games, they will be able to prepare more effective learning environments.
